I chose a live event to kick of this open cart. This time I created a Masterclass and because my previous Masterclasses seemed to miss the mark, I hired Ashley of Ashley Does Courses to go over my outline. The result was 6X what I normally get! I count that as a win. Think about what live event you can host to open the doors to your cart. It doesn’t have to be a traditional webinar either!
I refined my sales page after taking Patrice Poltzer and Wiebke Uhlendorf’s AI workshop using deep research. I basically rewrote most of my sales page copy to meet my audience exactly where they were at both in their mindset and in their goals and hopes. Can’t recommend them enough!
I shared testimonials in every single email
I followed a flow in my emails for 14 days that I was open: I cycled through unique program features, answered objections, built hype and shared cased studies. This ensured that I didn’t forget to address key questions people had
In total I sent 34 emails. I sent 2 emails a day for 12 days, ramped it up to 3 emails day 13 and on day 14 I sent 5 emails. My open rates stayed steady even when I sent more emails.
I allowed people to opt out of my SD promotional emails and had around 60 people opt out but remain on my list. Make sure you add a short disclaimer at the top or bottom of your email to let people opt out of hearing about SD but stay on my email list.
I launched a new feature inside of SD and talked about it! The Social Secretary AI, our new proprietary software (not a custom GPT way more advanced) that comes up with your Hooks for you using my frameworks and built by SD Client and master Wiebke Uhlendorf
I rested. When I didn’t feel like showing up “live” on Instagram, I had posts ready to go. I shared testimonials constantly in my stories and when I was feeling off I kept selling. You do not need to show up live to sell, but not enough of you are selling every day.
You may be interested to know that I saw the most sales come in day 1 and then I had CRICKETS for about one week.
I didn’t let this stop me from selling.
In fact, it empowered me knowing that it’s part of the buying process. People were taking their time, reading my emails and taking the time to organize themselves before joining.
Something interesting from this open cart was that I barely had anyone ask me questions.
That’s the power of a well-executed launch strategy. One that’s mapped, messaged, and designed to convert before someone even hits “reply.”
