I have some bad news.

If you’re taking advice from influencers and guru accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers let me be honest with you: what works for them hardly ever works for regular people. 

They have the advantage of a massive audience and they are sharing tips and tricks about how to grow on Instagram, so of course they’re going to get engagement.

The majority of them (few exceptions) share very basic hacks (which are not strategy), and very basic tips that are not going to help you if your plan is to be relevant long-term. 

I also have to tell you that Instagram advice from 2022, 2023 and even some from 2024 doesn’t work anymore.

Advice like this:

• Use 3 to 5 content pillars to come up with your post ideas and themes
• Use 10 to 30 hashtags on each post
• Post every day for 365 days to grow your following

Here’s something else I’ve learned too…

Multiple 6 figure and even 7 figure coaches don’t know how to grow OR convert their audience on Instagram. They rely on paid ads, big teams, podcasts and complicated funnels for their growth and sales. 

I know because they enroll to work with me privately after being disappointed with trying to do it on their own, or hiring a social media manager or agency to take over their content creation. 

Instagram is an ART and even if you know how to sell, I can bet that you don’t know how to grow or sell on Instagram.
