Let’s be real: pricing your services can feel incredibly complicated.

For most of us, it’s a never-ending cycle of wanting to avoid getting “no’s” and undercharging, only to find ourselves overwhelmed, burnt out, and wondering if our businesses will ever see those sweet monthly recurring income months!

I know this struggle all too well, and I’m excited to be attending the Elevate Your Offer Workshop, that’s being run by my friend Mike Moll.

Over the course of two days he will teach us how to simplify our services and maximize our profits.

Every time I meet up with Mike I learn something new so when he asked me if I wanted to attend the workshop I jumped.

Here’s the thing: If the idea of signing 5 new clients today feels more terrifying than exciting, there might be a problem with your offer.

So many solopreneurs (myself included!) have made the mistake of setting prices low enough to get those easy “yeses”, only to realize later that those small fees and big promises make scaling and growth nearly impossible.

We end up promising way too much, with margins so tight that outsourcing isn’t an option. And you know where that leads: burnout.

When it comes time to raise our prices, we feel like we have to add even more deliverables to justify the higher fee, making everything even more complicated.

I recently had to make changes to my pricing and deliverables for The Social Department in order to make it scalable and profitable and let me tell you it was the best decision.

When I figured out pricing, I went from:

  • Having three different tiers to choose from to just one
  • Allowing people to cancel any time to making the program 12 months
  • From a membership to a program
  • To unpredictable monthly cash months to predictable recurring revenue
  • Having a $90K launch (which the training is part of my BF Sales btw)

It was all because of pricing and elevating my offer!

Pricing your services doesn’t need to be so confusing
