Welcome to the 5th issue of Notes from the Middle. I’m just free-writing, so please excuse any typos, grammar mistakes or terrible sentence structure.

May looked quieter on paper than it felt in my body.
I spent most of it with my head down, building toward the biggest Revenue Studio open cart I’ve ever run, and the strange thing about a month like that is that you’re working harder than you have in months while having almost nothing to show for it publicly. No big posts, no announcements, no visible proof that anything is happening. Just the slow, unglamorous work of getting something ready and trusting that it will land.
The migraines are back.
After seven months of real improvement, I’m dealing with up to three a week again and while they aren’t as severe as they used to be, the return of them is a mind f*ck in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve had something chronic come back after you thought you’d finally turned a corner. You grieve the corner a little. You recalibrate. You make your tea and get on the call anyway.
I saw my neurologist this month and we’ve decided to try Botox as the next step. My dad told me my grandmother used to get bad migraines right up until menopause, and several of my cousins on my maternal side get them too, so at this point I’m filing it under genetic and moving on. I’m open to whatever works.
June is the month everyone will see. May was the month that made it possible. I’m feeling calm about it surprisingly even though it’s the biggest open cart I’ve ever gone for. My low goal is 20 registrants, my high goal is 40.
Saying it out loud feels vulnerable but let’s see what happens. I’ve never felt more sure about an offer and can’t believe how great it is (there’s been A LOT of thought put into it to make sure that it’s unlike anything else on the market).
